Are the Yellow Pages Tree Killers?

Before I start I would like to admit that I have not done much research on this... I'm just wondering if there's a better way.

The Captain has been in his new office for 3 months now. In this time there has been 7 Yellow Pages left at the office door. Not only the Captain's door but every office in the complex. Most people don't even bother to pick the Yellow Pages up anymore because they don't want it. I didn't ask for it...so why is it here? Is it litter?

This made the Captain think? Are the Yellow Pages made from recycled materials? I couldn't find anything in them that said they are. I couldn't find anything on the website that said so.
Are the Yellow Pages and the Companies that make them Tree Killers? You would think in this day and age they would get rid of the old ways and think of something new.

Dont Call it a Come Back! Nicky Wood

Someone call James Cameron. This is the kind of story that has cheesy Hollywood movie premise written all over it. Nicky Wood, former 80s pro surf prodigy-turned town drunk has won a wildcard slot into the Breaka Burleigh Heads Pro, a 4-star WQS event. Wood is still the youngest surfer to ever win a World Tour Event at age 16 when he won the '87 Rip Curl Easter Surfing Festival at Bells Beach. The surf world immediately hailed him as the next Australian World Champ, but within 5 years he had gone the dark route of so many promising young surfers before him, names like Michael Peterson, Shane Herring, and even Mark Occhilupo (before his comeback). By the mid-nineties he had all but disappeared from the public eye. Now flash forward to today, some 17 years since he had put on a contest jersey, and Nicky Wood is seeded into heat 14 of the round of 96. The best part of the story is that he won the slot via a promotional contest put on by the event sponsor, Breaka Flavored Milk. Contest organizers were shocked. The irony is undeniable. The surf world watched as Woods spiraled out of control and his story became a cautionary tale to young surfers everywhere. Now, Woods has a chance to silence all the mutterings of the past and re-write the final chapter in his career. Its not like he's gonna win the event or anything, but as long as he puts in a respectable performance, the event will be a long awaited finale to a stifled career...

Trestles surfers were finally bitch-slapped by Sacramento's budget blues today. Panic began yesterday with the arrival of a toll booth in the parking lot adjacent to Carl's Junior. Then, this morning, fears were confirmed and confusion turned to rage as the price of parking admission in the lot went from zero to $15 bucks overnight.

Brett Simpson Wins US Open

Brett Simpson Wins $100,00.00 at the US Open presented by Hurley. Now the Captain thinks Brett Rips. Hands down he surfs really well but when did doing 1 turn and 1 air reverse score a 9.10. Mick Fanning and Brett both had several waves with 4-5 plus turns and had a average score of 4.5. Like I said Brett rips and he surfed really well thru the whole contest... but I think he won that final before he paddled out.
